As a Clinical Sales Representative you will act as a vital partner for healthcare organisations of various sizes, growing our product portfolio for an untapped Southern UK territory with plenty of scope for opportunity.

BASIC SALARY:
Up to £45,000

As our Clinical Sales Representative, you will be reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be working on developing new business, building revenue and product awareness across the NHS, private practice, specialist retailers, pharmacies & clinics for a portfolio of ophthalmology products. You will,

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Split your time between growing and retaining new and repeat business

· Develop new business by promoting the product portfolio through cold calling, email prospecting, attending events, referrals / lead follow up and in person meetings in order to achieve targets.

· Targeting key decision makers across NHS and private hospitals, community and retail optometry, community pharmacies, ICBs and, where appropriate, primary care.

· Attend international, regional and national exhibitions and conferences, representing the business and providing guidance and information to delegates and prospective clients.

· Deliver engaging product presentations, demonstrations and educational events.

Establishing yourself across the NHS, private hospitals, specialist retailers, pharmacies and clinics we are looking for a driven and motivated sales professional looking to break into medical / pharmaceutical sales or an existing healthcare sales professional seeking their next challenge that offers autonomy and career growth.
 
To be successful in your application, you'll have a successful proven track record across account management and new business, you'll either be selling a medical product today or have the desire to break into this challenging yet reward market, if it's the latter you'll need to demonstrate why!
 
Essentially you will have:

· Experience managing outbound sales processes with varied sales cycle lengths

· Worked with private and public sector organisations of varied size involving multiple stakeholders.

· Evidence of strong presentation skills and achieving sales targets

· Strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness and the drive to identify and convert untapped opportunities.

· Positive, motivated, resilient with a creative mindset and capable of working independently
 
Whilst you do not have to have experience of medical product sales it will be a distinct advantage, as would a related degree. If you can demonstrate a passion for the sector and have a strong story as to why you can make it a success we'd love to hear from you too.
