The client is a leading audio-visual systems integrator and installer, specialising in the design, supply, installation, service, and maintenance of presentation and conferencing AV systems for corporate and government sectors. Role OverviewThey are seeking a skilled and proactive Audio-Visual Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and integration of AV systems across various environments, including meeting rooms, boardrooms, training centres, and large conference halls. Your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality AV solutions that meet our clients' needs and exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Install and configure a range of AV equipment, including projectors, audio systems, video conferencing solutions, digital signage, and control systems.
- Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure installations align with client specifications and project timelines.
- Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of AV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide on-site training to clients, ensuring they are proficient in operating their new AV systems.
- Offer ongoing support and maintenance services as required, addressing any technical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, including system configurations and client feedback.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies during all installations.
- Proven experience in AV system installation and integration.
- Familiarity with industry-standard AV equipment and technologies.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience with video conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and associated hardware.
- Knowledge of AV control systems like Crestron and Extron.
- Understanding of digital signage solutions and room booking systems.
- Relevant certifications in AV installation or related fields.
