Mobile Water Treatment Technician

Equans UK & Ireland – Permanent, full‑time (40 hours per week) based in the South of England. You will be based in regions covering Reading, Hampshire, London and the South East. Salary is competitive and includes a company vehicle and benefits package.

What you will deliver

• Represent EQUANS Water Compliance as a Water Treatment Technician delivering all water treatment services across the South and South East of the UK.
• Perform Tier 1 duties such as Temperature Monitoring, Shower head Descaling, Cold Water Storage Tank inspections and cleanings, Cooling Tower cleaning and disinfections, TMV servicing, and Water Sampling.
• Perform Tier 2 duties, including everything in Tier 1 plus Dosing of Inhibitor and Biocide, LTHW Systems Testing and Analysis.
• Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems.
• Maintain all site L8 logbooks as the Primary Technician and ensure they are up to date and accurate.
• Complete work reports via day‑works sheet or Planon promptly.

Who we’re looking for

• City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification relevant to the Tier grading under the job description.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of technical regulations, including Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG
  274 and other relevant guidance.
• Fault diagnosis and resolution skills.
• Valid driving licence.

This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists; the ability to pass is essential.
