About the Role We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work with a well-established company, ensuring our fleet of heavy goods vehicles remains in top condition.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and other commercial vehicles.
Perform diagnostics and fault-finding using the latest equipment.
Complete MOT preparations and inspections, ensuring compliance with DVSA regulations.
Work on braking systems, engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components.
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining safety and efficiency.
Keep accurate records of servicing and repairs using maintenance logs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure minimum vehicle downtime.

Requirements
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification in HGV Maintenance (or equivalent).
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Mechanic, or Fitter.
Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools and software.
A full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential).
Ability to work independently and within a team.
A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
