Adult Social Worker | Advice and Wellbeing Hub

Hourly Rate: £38 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Social Worker to join the Advice and Wellbeing Hub on a six-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Social Worker to play a key role in reducing waiting lists and ensuring residents receive timely, effective interventions.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing a varied and complex caseload while completing robust assessments, managing risk, and making sound professional decisions. You will need to be organized, resilient and confident working independently, while always maintaining a person-centered, strengths-based approach.

As a Social Worker within the Hub, you will:

• Manage a complex and varied caseload of adults and carers.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and identify appropriate support and interventions.
• Undertake robust risk assessments and develop effective risk management plans.
• Make confident, evidence-based professional decisions.
• Provide short-term interventions focused on promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Work collaboratively with individuals, families, carers and partner agencies.
• Identify strengths, resources and community-based solutions.
• Respond effectively to changing and complex circumstances.
• Contribute to reducing waiting lists and improving access to timely support.
• Maintain accurate, high-quality case records and documentation.
• Work in accordance with relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures and professional standards.
