What's the role?Ridge is a Built Environment Consultancy. This is all about the human-made spaces and structures that support how and where we live, work and play. It’s everything from individual buildings to entire cities and the infrastructure that connects them. If you’re fired up by the thought of an impactful and rewarding career shaping that environment, working in expert teams and getting down to the nitty gritty of our clients’ challenges, then read on!
Our two-year Evolve graduate programme develops and supports the next generation of Built Environment professionals. As a Graduate Visualisation Technician
, you will support our visualisation team and work collaboratively on a diverse range of high-profile UK and international motor sport projects. Guided by experienced visualisation specialists, engineers and designers, you will bring world-class motor sport projects to life in the virtual environment. You will create immersive 3D models and realistic visualisations for racetracks, architectural designs and wider project developments. You will gain hands‑on experience using industry-standard software to produce CAD drawings, develop 3D assets and contribute to simulator models that are used to evaluate and refine the driving experience of the circuits.
As your skills develop, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of projects, from creating feature‑complete racing simulator models and optimising environments within game engines, to modelling buildings, landscapes and vehicles that form part of our design proposals. You will work closely with senior team members to research and develop new tools and workflows, troubleshoot technical challenges and ensure virtual environments meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
