Driver Hire Reading are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category

C) Drivers for skip lorry work with a well‑established operator in the waste and aggregates sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent weekday work with overtime available.

• Operating Class 2 skip vehicles on local routes
• Delivering and collecting skips safely and efficiently
• Completing vehicle checks and ensuring roadworthiness
• Accurately completing paperwork and job sheets
• Maintaining communication with the transport office
• Adhering to all health & safety and driving regulations

• £19.00 per hour – Basic (up to 45 hours)
• £23.00 per hour – Overtime (after 45 hours)

• Valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• CPC qualification and Digital Tacho Card
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Experience with in waste, aggregates or construction preferred
• Strong focus on safety and compliance
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused
• Good communication and teamwork skills
