Amazon Flex Delivery Driver

Overview

Making quicker progress toward your goals starts with downloading the Amazon Flex mobile app. Once you’ve downloaded the app, set up your account, and passed a background check, you can look for delivery driving opportunities that are convenient for you. Open the Amazon Flex app to search for available delivery blocks in your area. With every offer, you’ll see your expected earnings
* and how long we estimate your block is likely to take you to complete.

The day of your block, head to your designated Amazon location as directed in the app. This could be an Amazon depot, warehouse, supermarket, or an Amazon Now pickup location where you will pick‑up packages, groceries and fresh food for delivery.

Then, using the Amazon Flex app as guidance, navigate to each destination and deliver parcels and smiles wherever you go.

We understand that sometimes you want to accept an offer but you’re unsure whether you can make it. Delivering with Flex offers the freedom and flexibility to substitute blocks for someone you know who meets the eligibility requirements, even if they are not already registered with Amazon Flex.

Once your deliveries are complete, there’s nothing else for you to do but get paid for your delivery services. As a self‑employed delivery driver, you will get paid by Amazon Flex via direct deposit once a week, which you can track in the Earnings section within the Amazon Flex app.

For car deliveries you will need a valid UK driving licence, a mid‑size or larger vehicle, a smartphone, eligibility to work in the UK, and valid commercial vehicle insurance.

For e‑bike deliveries you will need a battery‑operated e‑bike that meets all applicable laws and safety requirements without unlawful modifications, insurance, a smartphone, and eligibility to work in the UK. E‑bike must meet all Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) standards and legal requirements.

Once you’ve onboarded, here’s what to expect:

Before making your first delivery, check out the Resource Portal in the main menu of the Amazon Flex app. There you’ll receive tips on how to prepare for your block and get answers to commonly asked questions. You can also watch videos that share helpful tips on how to deliver at any time.

Reserve a block. Open the Amazon Flex app to search for available delivery blocks. Your block will be between 1 and 4 hours long, allowing you to choose a time that suits your schedule.

Head to the delivery station at the designated time to pick up your packages. The app will lead you to the delivery station location, and you’ll find Amazon Flex signs to direct you to the pick‑up area.

Scan each package using the app as you load them into your vehicle.
