Salary: 45, DOE plus bonus

Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Transport Manager to lead a fast‑paced transport operation. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can make decisions confidently, drive performance, and build a strong operational culture. You will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operations function, ensuring service levels, compliance, and operational efficiency are consistently delivered. • Manage the day‑to‑day transport operation to ensure smooth and efficient delivery performance
• Lead and develop transport teams, creating a positive and accountable culture
• Ensure compliance with all transport legislation, health & safety, and operational procedures
• Drive operational improvements and implement effective processes
• Monitor KPIs, service levels, and operational costs
• Make proactive decisions to support operational performance and customer satisfaction
• Work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure high service standards

• Previous experience within a Transport Manager or similar leadership role
• CPC qualification preferred
• Strong decision‑making ability and a calm approach under pressure
• Resilient, adaptable, and forward‑thinking leadership style
• Hands‑on manager who leads from the front
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Strong understanding of transport operations, compliance, and planning
