Noise Logging Technician

Job Overview

Noise Logging Technician supporting water companies. Full training provided. Salary: £12.71 per hour. 40 hours per week. Core hours 7:30 am – 4 pm; shift patterns may vary.

• Deploy and retrieve loggers (small metal listening devices) within a DMA for water companies.
• Deploy loggers on client furniture, typically on fire hydrants and valves, normally 80‑100 loggers per day.
• Retrieve loggers 24 hours later, download data to assess leakage noise captured between 2.00 – 4.00 am, and repeat the process.
• Manually handle tasks that may involve lifting, stretching and bending; experience of driving long hours is beneficial.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
