A family-run haulier working out of Twyford, near Reading, since the 1950s, with a modern, well-kept fleet and we're growing. Our trucks have delivered everywhere from London building sites to Buckingham Palace and Downing Street, and we're after another Class 1 driver to help us do it.

The work

Building materials, palletised goods, scaffolding and steel from our Twyford depot to sites across London and the South of England

Artics up to 44 tonnes, flatbed and curtainside - plus regular wagon & drag work for those with the experience

Proper professional haulage - no multi-drop

Day work, home every night, bar the occasional paid UK night out when the job needs it

Mostly Monday Friday, 10-hour shifts, with overtime there for those who want it

What you'll need

Class 1 (C+E) licence, valid Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card

Ideally wagon & drag experience  there's regular drawbar work waiting for it

A Hiab or Moffett ticket is ideal too, and paid accordingly  and FORS training is a huge plus

To live within about 30 minutes of our Twyford depot (RG10)  the days can be long enough without a big commute on top

Comfortable in and around London, and reliable, professional and polite  you're the face of Bennetts on every site

What we offer

£38,000 £ 42,000 basic depending on experience, plus plenty of overtime  we never run short of work

The right tickets paid accordingly  Hiab, Moffett and wagon & drag experience all count

Paid training kept current: ALLMI Hiab, Moffett, FORS, Driver CPC
