Class 2 Driver

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a rare Monday to Friday role with a great work-life balance? GXO is currently recruiting for our long-standing partnership with BT , based in Chelmsford , supporting a key contract delivering essential equipment across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, customer-focused operation where safety, service and reliability are at the heart of everything we do.

As part of the role, you’ll also be supported in gaining training on a Forklift and Moffett truck. This is a full-time, permanent role with a rare and highly sought-after Monday to Friday schedule , covering the hours between 06:00 and 14:00. Pay, benefits and more:

Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections across the UK Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule Perform safe manual handling in line with training Use HHT (handheld technology) compliantly Conduct dynamic risk assessments at delivery/collection points Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional manner at all times What you need to succeed at GXO: A valid Class 2 licence with an up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Less than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements) An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph A strong understanding of road safety and vehicle compliance A team player with a professional attitude and excellent timekeeping Willingness to be trained on a Forklift and Moffett truck We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
