Hours:
Rotating between and Basic: £15.00 per hour / £39,000 per year Overtime: available Incentives & Bonuses: available Overview: F1 Personnel are an agency working with this well-established and highly respected local company providing Roadside Assistance, Vehicle Recovery and Repair services based in Reading They are recruiting an additional Vehicle Recovery Driver to expand their already successful team.
Why This Role?:
Helping people in a time of need by attending broken down vehicles by the roadside. Providing basic repairs just as wheel changes and jump starts OR Transporting vehicles that can't be repaired to the depot, local garage or customer's home address
Skills & Experience:
All candidates must have previous commercial vehicle driving experience plus the following:
Driving Requirements:
Minimum 7.5T (LGV C1) Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements, no DD, DR, IN, CD Hold current Drivers Qualification Card (DCPC) & Tacho Card Have basic mechanical knowledge. Vehicle repairs are not expected but wheel changes, jump starts, etc are required occasionally Personal Attributes:
Previous recovery driving experience in an HGV2 vehicle or above Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused Able to work on own initiative and in all weathers Professional and safe driving record Vetting:
Checks will include:
Identity and Right to Work DBS Criminal Records Referencing for 2-years
