Warehouse Operative​/Labourer

Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Operative plays a key role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of lighting products. You will help maintain stock accuracy, pick and pack orders, and assist with inventory control, contributing to a smooth and safe warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities:

* Receive, check, and store incoming lighting products and materials

* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to customer and project requirements

* Load and unload deliveries, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently

* Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment

* Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures

* Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks, forklifts (if certified), and scanners

* Assist with product labelling and quality checks

* Assisting the production team when warehouse duties completed.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred

* Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures

* Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment as required (reasonable adjustments available)

* Attention to detail and accuracy

* Strong teamwork and communication skills

Salary &

Terms:

* £12.71 per hour

* Monday to Friday

* 08:00 – 16:00

* Temp to Perm
