• Our Warehouse Operatives work in a chilled, produce and ambient environment and support the picking of customer orders
• You will operate manual handling equipment in a safe manner
• You will utilise the warehouse management system and 'pick by voice' equipment
• Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
• Working towards daily productivity and performance targets
• Maintaining high housekeeping, hygiene and safety standards at all times
• Flexibility in your approach – we do have peak seasons
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with a customer‑focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and adaptability
• Commitment to Health & Safety and maintaining operational standards

• Previously working in a warehouse environment desirable

Here at GXO, we're working in partnership with Waitrose and are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Reading. This is a full‑time, permanent position, working an 'any 5 days out of 7' shift pattern, covering morning shift 06:00 - 14:00 hours.
