Warehouse Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role responsible for ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records, and leading a small team to achieve operational targets.

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and inventory activities.
• Ensure goods are received, checked, counted, and booked into the system accurately.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock checks.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage inventory transactions through ERP/MRP systems.
• Ensure FIFO principles and stock management best practices are followed.
• Prioritise workloads and communicate urgent material requirements effectively.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and other departments.
• Support, train, and develop warehouse team members.
• Maintain compliance with warehouse procedures, health and safety requirements, and company standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and inventory operations.

• Previous experience within a warehouse, stores, inventory, or materials management environment.
• Experience leading, supervising, or coordinating teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, stock accuracy, cycle counting, and inventory management processes.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Good problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
