Warehouse Operative; Flexi​/Bendi Forklift

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a valid Flexi, Bendi or Pivot Steer Forklift Truck licence to join a busy warehouse operation in the Reading, Berkshire area.

This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to become part of an established team.

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating a Flexi/Bendi/Pivot Steer forklift truck
• Order picking using both MHE and manual methods
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Goods-in processing and stock checks
• Stock replenishment and inventory control
• Container unloading when required
• Producing labels and processing warehouse paperwork using internal systems
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse
• Supporting colleagues across all warehouse functions as required

To be considered for this role, you'll have:

• Previous warehouse experience
• A valid Flexi, Bendi, Pivot Steer or Aisle Master forklift licence
• At least 1 year's experience operating a Flexi/Bendi truck
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good IT and data entry skills
• A flexible and positive attitude to work
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime when required

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• 14.60 per hour and above, depending on experience
• Overtime available
