Monday to Friday (Morning and Afternoon Shifts Available)
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and friendly manufacturing company based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stable Monday to Friday work within a fast-paced warehouse environment. If you are reliable, hardworking, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
The role of Warehouse Operative:
Picking and packing products accurately to customer requirements
Preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring packaging standards are met
Booking goods in and out of the warehouse
Assisting with goods-in and goods-out activities
Preparing production kits using bills of materials
Moving and organising stock within the warehouse and stores areas
Maintaining accurate stock records using the ERP system
Supporting the production and warehouse teams as required
Keeping the work area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety procedures
The Warehouse Operative will have the following skills and experience:
Previous warehouse, packing, or stores experience
Experience working within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Experience using ERP/MRP systems is desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
Strong team-working skills
Reliable and committed approach to work
