Public Auditor

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek an Auditor to join their Red Bank, NJ office.

• Oversee multiple audit and review engagements from planning through completion
• Coach and supervise engagement staff, providing training and performance feedback
• Serve as the primary liaison among Managers, Partners, Clients, and engagement teams
• Direct all phases of audit engagements, resolving legal, regulatory, and accounting issues as they arise
• Examine general ledger accounts—scheduled and non-scheduled—to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and evaluate annual financial statements for audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Conduct performance discussions with team members and guide professional growth
• Support billing and collections processes to ensure timely and accurate client invoicing
• Stay informed on new accounting pronouncements and emerging professional standards
• Contribute to professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience required
• Commercial industry experience required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and analytical
