Our client is seeking a highly skilled Digital Lead – Web & App Development to oversee the development, management, and security of the company’s digital platforms and technology assets. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technical leader who is equally comfortable with strategy and execution, thrives in a remote environment, and can manage complex, interconnected systems across web and mobile applications.
The Digital Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the client’s digital ecosystem is scalable, secure, and optimized, while supporting ongoing development initiatives across teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of client’s websites and mobile applications
- Serve as the primary owner of all digital assets, ensuring systems are well‑organized, documented, secure, and up to date
- Manage both front‑end and back‑end development efforts, including hands‑on coding as needed
- Oversee and maintain Word Press environments, including custom themes, plugins, performance optimization, and security best practices
- Design, manage, and integrate disparate systems, APIs, and platforms to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
- Ensure digital platforms meet performance, reliability, and scalability standards
- Implement and enforce security protocols to protect company systems, applications, and data
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, project managers, and external vendors to support business goals
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and lead resolution efforts
- Establish development standards, documentation, and best practices across all digital properties
- Advanced experience with Word Press
, including custom development and administration - Hands‑on experience with React and React Native for web and mobile application development
- Solid back‑end development experience and API integration
- Strong knowledge of AWS (including deployment, hosting, scaling, and security best practices)
- Experience managing cloud‑based infrastructure and distributed systems
- Ability to manage and integrate multiple, disparate platforms and technologies
- Proven experience in a senior or lead‑level digital, web, or application development role
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage and secure a wide range of digital assets
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on technical execution
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience in energy, utilities, or similarly complex technical environments is a plus
