Under the direction of the Assistant Executive Director, Administration, develops, implements and supervises budgetary and personnel issues, data systems, contracts, client billing and asset management for the Health Services Agency. Performs related professional work as required.

• Assists with the planning, implementation, supervision and evaluation of Fiscal/Data Division services and programs; performs duties in direct support of Health Services Agency management.
• Assigns, supervises and evaluates the work of staff engaged in department accounting, contract management, personnel, data collection and fiscal reporting functions. Provides adequate staff training.
• Assists in writing and establishing policies and procedures as requested by the Assistant Executive Director, Administration, with final approval by the Health Services Agency Executive Director, to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, human resources, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of increasingly responsible administrative or accounting experience.
• Two (2) years supervisory experience is preferred.
• Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

• Requires a valid California driver’s license.

The department is currently recruiting for one (1) vacancy.

In addition, Tehama County is establishing an eligibility list to fill future vacancies for a Fiscal Data Supervisor, as well as, subsequent vacancies which occur during the life of the eligibility list.

Testing Dates:
January 15-19, 2026. Testing will be provided via email.

Tentative Interview Dates: 1st – Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. 2nd – Friday, January 30, 2026 from 10:30am to 12:30am.

New employees should anticipate being hired at the beginning step of the salary range. Candidates who exceed entry level qualifications may be considered, with approval from the Board of Supervisors, for placement at other than A step.
