BDO is seeking an Intermediate Accountant for its Assurance & Accounting team in Red Deer. You will handle audits, prepare tax returns, and build positive client relationships. Training and development of staff is also part of your responsibilities, aligning with BDO's commitment to personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage audit tasks independently or in a team
• Prepare year-end engagements and tax returns
• Conduct audits and prepare financial statements
• Build strong client relationships and respond to inquiries
• Train junior staff and support their development
Requirements:
• Pursuing CPA designation
• 1-2 years of audit experience in public accounting
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Keen interest in assurance and regulatory requirements
• Team-oriented with a client service focus
