Financial Controller at Established Manufacturer

Join a leading manufacturing client in Red Deer as a Financial Controller. This pivotal role involves accounting oversight, human resources administration, and supporting operational success.

The successful candidate will oversee all accounting functions, manage payroll, and ensure compliance with accounting policies. You will report directly to the General Manager and Corporate CFO, making a significant impact on financial strategy and operations. You'll also develop cash flow forecasts, prepare financial statements, and lead the annual budgeting process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities

• Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly staff

• Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses

• Develop and maintain budgets and cash flow forecasts

• Present financial results to senior management regularly

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• Minimum 5 years as a Controller in manufacturing

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills

• Strong accounting and financial analysis experience

• Experience with SAP Business One preferred
