Join Red Deer Resort & Casino as an Accounting Clerk, focusing on cash operations and financial accuracy. This role involves extensive daily cash reconciliation and the preparation of revenue reports.

In this role, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and be responsible for cash handling, transaction verification, and maintaining financial records. Your attention to detail will be essential as you manage cash vaults and support various accounting functions, including accounts payable and month-end reporting. Previous experience in finance-related fields is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily cash counting and reconciliations

• Prepare daily revenues, deposits, and reports

• Verify cash-out reports and investigate discrepancies

• Maintain accurate transaction documentation

• Assist with financial data entry and compliance

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance preferred

• 1-2 years of relevant cash handling experience

• Knowledge of accounting principles and controls

• High-level attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
