Lead SaaS finance with Partner One as Business Unit Controller, applying accounting expertise and financial analysis in a remote environment.
This Business Unit Controller oversees financial operations for software business units and reports directly to the CFO. The position partners with leadership on reporting, operational efficiency, and data-driven decisions. It requires experience with US GAAP, revenue recognition, consolidation, budgeting, and SaaS metrics.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee accounting and financial reporting for assigned business units
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
- Analyze variances against targets and provide decision-making insights
- Maintain ARR, churn, deferred revenue, and EBITDA metrics
- Strengthen controls and streamline accounting workflows
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- More than 10 years of progressive accounting experience
- At least 3 years in software or complex multi-entity environments
- Proficiency with Sage Intacct, Net Suite, Excel, and modeling
- Experience building teams and developing finance staff
