Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented multitasker who takes pride in maintaining a welcoming environment, managing administrative duties, and ensuring our property meets high quality-assurance standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Relations & Front Desk Operations
- Greet guests and clients promptly with a warm, professional demeanor, creating an excellent first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest registration and billing.
- Handle multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries professionally, and direct calls to appropriate departments.
- Manage reservation calendars and schedule appointments using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Process payments, manage basic bookkeeping, and perform accurate data entry using relevant software.
- Conduct daily inspections of a minimum of 10 rooms prior to guest arrivals to verify cleanliness, housekeeping standards, and proper maintenance.
- Document and immediately report any maintenance or housekeeping deficiencies to the appropriate teams to ensure swift resolution.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the main lobby
, reception area, and coffee stations during quiet or non-busy periods. - Perform essential clerical duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and proofreading paperwork.
- Support administrative and management staff with miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.
- Experience: Proven experience in a front desk, clerical, or office administration role (hospitality, medical, or dental office experience is a plus).
- Tech Savvy: Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software. Experience with Quick Books is highly advantageous.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with an eye for cleanliness, presentation, and property maintenance standards.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, featuring a professional phone etiquette.
- Adaptability: Ability to stay productive and self-motivated during slower periods, balancing administrative duties with physical property checks and light cleaning.
- Pressure Management: Strong ability to multi-task and remain calm and courteous under pressure during peak check-in hours.
Pay: $15.00-$15.50 per hour
