Part-Time Construction Inspector Alberta

Stantec is seeking a part-time Construction Inspector to support our Alberta Transportation group. In this role, you will conduct site inspections on complex projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and contract documents. Your expertise will contribute to the safety and quality of transportation infrastructure, while you coordinate daily construction activities with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily onsite construction activities with contractors and clients
• Report deviations from contract documents and resolve with responsible parties
• Schedule and manage inspections for compliance verification
• Maintain accurate records of inspected activities and progress
• Communicate construction status and concerns to project teams
Requirements:
• Technical degree/diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 14 years of construction experience required
• Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors
• Experience with Alberta Transportation projects is an asset
• Ability to solve complex problems and effectively communicate issues
