Parks & Public Works Roads Supervisor

This one-year term as a Roads Supervisor involves overseeing road maintenance and construction within Red Deer. Reporting to the Roads Superintendent, you will lead diverse teams, manage budgets, and influence the community's infrastructure strategies. Your leadership will drive operational excellence and safety in public works initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct road construction and winter operations effectively

• Engage in team leadership and cultural development

• Guide financial management and budget planning

• Monitor daily operations and crew effectiveness

• Respond to public inquiries and stakeholder needs

Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar

• At least four years in a supervisory role in roads

• Knowledge of road maintenance and construction practices

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage changing priorities and meet tight deadlines
