Previous experience in food service or retail such as barista, server, cashier, or customer sales representative is helpful and appreciated. More important, you are trustworthy, enjoy details, and believe quality keeps guests coming back. Service is about making a connection: a smile, an extra hand, or an empathetic nod can change someone's day. You are a people person through and through.
