The Parking Attendant plays an important role in delivering a safe, organized, and welcoming guest experience during Westerner Days taking place July
15–19,2026.
Reporting to the General Manager, Facilities & Park Operations, this position is responsible for directing vehicle traffic, assisting guests and vendors with parking, and supporting efficient traffic flow throughout Westerner Park.
Key Responsibilities- Direct vehicles safely and efficiently to designated parking areas throughout Westerner Park.
- Assist guests with parking inquiries, directions, and general event information.
- Monitor traffic flow and support congestion management during peak arrival and departure periods.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding parking capacity, traffic concerns, and operational updates.
- Assist with setup and removal of parking signage, barricades, cones, and traffic control equipment.
- Monitor designated parking areas to ensure compliance with parking procedures and safety standards.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service while interacting with guests, vendors, and staff.
- Respond calmly and professionally to guest concerns or traffic‑related issues and elevate concerns when required.
- Support the successful delivery of Westerner Days by contributing to protected, organized, and efficient parking operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (completed or in progress) preferred.
- Previous customer service, parking, traffic control, or event experience considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑traffic outdoor environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when managing guest or traffic concerns.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout shifts.
- Availability to work all required shifts during Westerner Days from July
15–19,2026, including days, evenings, weekends, and extended hours based on operational needs.
