AHS invites applications for the Urology Associate Physician role at Red Deer Regional Hospital. This position is specially designed for International Medical Graduates seeking to support acute patient care.
This Associate Physician opportunity supports the Urology Department in delivering high-quality medical services to patients. Candidates must possess a medical school degree from outside Canada and the United States, along with the required certifications and experience. You'll engage with a highly skilled team while adhering strictly to CPSA regulations in a full-time capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality acute patient care in collaboration with physicians
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Assist in surgical procedures and patient treatments
• Stay updated with CPSA licensing guidelines
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized international medical school
• Successfully passed MCCQE1 prior to application
• At least 3 years of acute hospital experience
• Minimum 7.0 IELTS score for English proficiency
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
