Assignment:

• Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position
• Courseload to include the following courses:
  Math 7, Math 10-3, Physics 20, and Biology 20
• This position has 5 preps and only 1 supervision per 5 week
• Duties to commence May 18, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year

• Experience teaching in an Junior/Senior High classroom
• Experience teaching relevant courses as mentioned above would be considered an asset
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success
• Assessment literate
• Able to provide direction and create individual student programs in collaboration with an EA
• Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills with an early education perspective
• Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Willingness to work in a team‑oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to use varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
