, commencing as soon as possible. Teaching duties to be determined. The successful candidate is required to work out of the North Star office, which is located in Red Deer, Alberta.
NSA is an alternate status Grade 1-12 online and home education school, focusing on the growth of Christian faith in students and staff. Applications are sought from teachers who have demonstrated excellence in their teaching and who have the ability to carry out their job duties according to the vision, mission and values of Northstar Academy and in a manner consistent with the NSA Statement of Faith.

- Evidence of highly effective leading for learning skills and strong teaching skills
- Positive interpersonal relations with staff, parents, and community members
- Evidence of ability to work effectively within a collaborative decision‑making environment and to promote a positive culture
- Skilled in guiding innovation in educational programs/practices
- Knowledge of effective inclusive education practices
- Masters Degree in Educational Leadership (or equivalent) or evidence of progress towards a Masters Degree
- Supportive of direction from principal
