Part-Time EDI Engagement

Position: Permanent Part-Time EDI Engagement Role
Enhance diversity and inclusion efforts at Red Deer Polytechnic as a Permanent Part-Time EDI Engagement Coordinator. You will coordinate educational initiatives and outreach activities to foster community engagement.

In this role, you will provide support for the EDI Strategic Plan by coordinating events, awareness campaigns, and learning opportunities. Working closely with committees and community partners, you will ensure effective implementation of EDI programs and support communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate community engagement activities related to EDI

• Manage logistics for events and educational initiatives

• Support the EDI Leadership Committee and advisory groups

• Assist with developing promotional materials

• Evaluate and report on EDI engagement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related area

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

• Familiarity with EDI principles and practices

• Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
