As the Sessional Instructor, you are responsible for teaching both theory and practical skills in the instrumentation program. This includes developing educational materials, participating in curriculum reviews, and being active in promoting the program. Your ability to mentor students and communicate effectively across learning styles is crucial for their success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and instruct on theory and shop aspects of the program
• Continually assess and refine the curriculum
• Engage in recruitment and promotional activities
• Participate on program and school committees
• Support and mentor students in their learning process
Requirements:
• Alberta Journeyperson Certificate in Instrumentation
• 5+ years of work experience post-certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Strong organizational skills for effective teaching
• Comfortable with public speaking and diverse audiences
