Full-time Inclusive Lead Teacher - 1.0 FTE

This position may be filled on either a probationary or continuous basis. A continuous contract may be offered to the successful candidate, subject to qualifications and operational requirements.

The Inclusive Lead Teacher provides leadership in fostering inclusive educational practices and supporting student success across the school. This role collaborates with teachers, educational assistants, families, and support teams to ensure students receive appropriate accommodations, adaptations, and interventions.

• Lead and promote inclusive practices throughout the school.
• Support teachers in developing and implementing adapted, modified, and accommodated programming.
• Collaborate with staff on Individual Support Plans (ISPs), student documentation, and educational programming.
• Assist in identifying at‑risk students and coordinating appropriate supports and interventions.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, educational assistants, and families.
• Provide guidance and support to educational assistants regarding student programming and instructional concerns.
• Facilitate professional learning opportunities for staff related to inclusive education.
• Maintain ongoing communication with parents and caregivers regarding student supports.
• Participate in scheduled Inclusive Lead Teacher (ILT) collaboration meetings, both online and in person.

The Inclusive Lead Teacher serves as a collaborative resource and advocate for inclusive learning environments that support the success and well‑being of all students.

• Bachelor of Education
• Valid Alberta Teaching Certification
• Knowledge of Alberta School Curriculum
• Focus on high quality, student‑centered learning
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and exercise servant leadership
• Comfortable working in a faith‑filled environment
