Red Deer Polytechnic is seeking a Probationary Continuous Steamfitter/Pipefitter Instructor with solid industry experience. In this role, you will develop and deliver instructional content, participate in curriculum design, and promote student recruitment initiatives. Your extensive experience will be crucial in supporting students' success through effective teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver theory and shop instruction for apprentices
• Participate in program committees and curriculum development
• Actively promote the program and recruit students
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years as a journeyperson with leadership experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Power Point
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Comfortable with public speaking and mentoring
• Ability to teach diverse learners effectively
