Red Deer Polytechnic is seeking skilled individuals to teach Practical Nurse courses in various settings, including labs and clinics. This role involves creating effective course material, evaluating student progress, and actively contributing to program development. Instructors will also travel to rural sites for hands-on instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach students in classroom, lab, and clinical settings
• Create and update engaging course materials
• Mark and evaluate student assignments and exams
• Travel to rural locations for clinical instruction
• Provide ongoing feedback and assistance to students
Requirements:
• Current LPN registration or RN license in Alberta
• Valid BLS certification, or willing to obtain
• Willingness for respiratory fit testing
• Valid driver's license required
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check necessary
