Position: Welding Instructional Assistant at Olds College
Enhance student learning as a Welding Instructional Assistant at Olds College of Agriculture & Technology. Support instructors by preparing materials, assisting students, and facilitating a productive lab environment.

We seek a dedicated individual for a temporary, full-time position to assist in the welding department. You'll work closely with instructors to ensure effective lesson delivery while managing inventory, setting up labs, and providing hands-on support in classes and during exams. Your contributions will help foster a successful learning atmosphere for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist instructors with program delivery and student support

• Order and maintain materials for welding classes

• Set up and dismantle lab equipment as required

• In-class support without direct instruction

• Participate in college events and promotional activities

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Certification in Welding with three years of experience

• Experience instructing at the post-secondary level is preferred

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work both independently and in teams

• Commitment to promoting inclusivity and safety
