Join Red Deer Polytechnic as a Steamfitter/Pipefitter Instructor, starting August 4, 2026. This critical role involves teaching and curriculum development to support future tradespeople.

As a Probationary Continuous Instructor, you will contribute to Alberta’s Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. Your leadership experience will help maintain and enhance instructional delivery in both theory and shop settings. Engaging with students and promoting the program will be key components of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the theory and practical components of the program

• Engage in continuous curriculum development efforts

• Recruit and mentor prospective students

Requirements:

• 5+ years of journeyperson experience with progressive leadership

• Intermediate skills in MS Word, Outlook, and Power Point

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Aptitude for mentoring and effective communication

• Experience teaching diverse learners preferred
