Join Red Deer Polytechnic as the Science Outreach Coordinator, where you'll shape exciting Science Workshops from July 2026 to June 2027. Drive engagement and collaboration with schools while managing workshop logistics.

This term-certain part-time position is essential for enhancing science education in the community. Responsibilities include developing workshop content aligned with Alberta Education curriculum, facilitating workshops, and managing grant applications and budgets. You will ensure a smooth operation and contribute to the cultivation of STEM education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and test science workshop activities

• Facilitate workshops with external groups

• Create and oversee the workshop calendar

• Write detailed grant proposals and reports

• Ensure up-to-date information on RDP website

Requirements:

• Four-year undergraduate degree or relevant experience

• First Aid Certification and valid driver's license

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Communication skills for liaising with educators

• Experience in budget management for workshops
