The substitute teacher role involves working in the absence of a regular teacher to aid students in understanding the subject matter and to provide skills required for programmed lessons and purposeful training for the classroom in which they are assigned. - Applicants must have or be eligible for an Alberta Professional Teaching Certificate – please provide a copy of your Alberta Teaching certificate as part of your application, or indicate the certificate number and expiry date in your application.
