This independent contractor role is ideal for candidates with a recognized music degree, diploma, or equivalent professional standing. You will bring your previous teaching experience to offer lessons in a variety of instruments at Long & McQuade’s Lesson Centres. Strong knowledge of teaching curricula and methodologies is required to effectively reach both individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in piano, guitar, bass, and other instruments

• Customize lessons for both private and group environments

• Implement effective teaching methods and lesson plans

• Nurture musical skills and creativity in students

• Maintain an engaging and supportive teaching atmosphere

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma or equivalent qualifications

• Experience teaching students of all ages

• Understanding of standard teaching methods and curricula

• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Commitment to fostering a love for music
