Temporary High School Teacher - Welding Focus

In this role, you will be expected to support the Welding Instructor in delivering robust educational outcomes. Your duties will include reporting on assessments, ensuring compliance with safety protocols in the welding lab, and maintaining effective communication with students' families. An understanding of the Alberta K–12 CTS curriculum can be beneficial for candidates but is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance teaching effectiveness with the Welding Instructor

• Monitor and report on student academic performance

• Promote and enforce safety in the welding class

• Communicate with home regarding student progress

• Collaborate on curriculum development initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education or higher

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Knowledge of the Alberta School Curriculum
