Assignment :

• Part-time 0.40 Educational Assistant position
• Two days per week (Tuesday and Thursday)
• Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year
• To provide support and assistance to diverse learners in a one-on-one setting, in small groups, and within the classroom

• Experience/Background working with academic and/or behavioural needs
• Ability to work one-on-one with a student in an inclusive environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Work harmoniously with teachers and other support staff
• Flexibility to work in a variety of programs and assigned duties
• Calm and patient approach to solving problems
• Reliability and eager to learn would be considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-oriented learning environment
• Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and patience
• Background and/or Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant would be considered an asset
