Position: Educational Assistant (Competition #S2526-0310)
Location: City of Lacombe

Assignment:

Part-time 0.40 Educational Assistant position
Two days per week, (Monday & Tuesday)
Supporting diverse learners in a one-on-one setting, small groups, and within the classroom
Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications:

A literacy and Numeracy background would be considered an asset
Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment
Experience working with students with complex needs
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with co-regulation
Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs
