Become an integral part of Poplar Ridge School as a full-time Educational Assistant with Chinook’s Edge School Division. Support K-6 students and enhance their educational experience.
Chinook’s Edge School Division is seeking a dedicated Educational Assistant for Poplar Ridge School, located west of Red Deer. Preference will be given to certified Educational Assistants with relevant experience. This full-time role is crucial for fostering a supportive learning environment for young students in Grades K-6.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide educational support to K-6 students
• Assist teachers in classroom activities and management
• Foster an inclusive learning environment
• Support students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with staff on student development
Requirements:
• Certification as an Educational Assistant preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Effective communication skills with children
• Commitment to student wellness and support
• Ability to conduct background checks
