Art Class Instructor

Chartpak is hiring a part-time Acrylic Painting, Watercolor, and Drawing Instructor at Michaels in Red Deer, Canada. Cultivate a rewarding teaching experience while sharing your passion for art.

The role offers artists the chance to conduct art classes, focusing on realistic techniques in acrylic painting, watercolor, and drawing. You’ll have the opportunity to build a personal student base and leave students with finished pieces after each class. This permanent position fosters community engagement through art education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lessons in realistic acrylic painting and watercolor

• Promote and grow student sign-ups for classes

• Prepare students to finish artwork during sessions

• Execute two-hour art classes tailored to student needs

• Engage with Michaels management regarding planning

Requirements:

• Demonstrable skill in realistic painting and drawing

• Experience in teaching art concepts and techniques

• Commitment to cultivating a thriving student community

• Must achieve Grumbacher certification for teaching

• Strong enthusiasm for art and community connection
