Position: Educational Assistant Support Role
Become a part-time Educational Assistant ncis of Assisi Middle School in Red Deer, AB, blending classroom and library support to enhance student learning.

We are looking for a Probationary Educational Assistant (0.83 FTE) to fulfill classroom support (0.58 FTE) and provide services within the Learning Commons (0.25 FTE).

Your role will involve teamwork with Support Staff to foster a positive learning environment. Essential skills include collaboration, compassion, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support in classroom activities

• Engage with students to support their learning needs

• Work alongside Support Staff for effective program delivery

• Assist with managing library operations

• Encourage a nurturing educational atmosphere

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a teaching or educational role is advantageous

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Compassionate nature towards student support

• Willingness to face new challenges and learn
