Instructional Assistant in Veterinary Technology

This full-time temporary position spans various terms and engages you directly in veterinary technology education. You will be responsible for classroom support, providing in-lab assistance, and coordinating materials for successful student outcomes at Olds College of Agriculture & Technology. Your contributions will help enrich the learning experiences of aspiring veterinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support instructors in hands-on learning and labs

• Prepare and manage lab materials and equipment

• Ensure student safety during instructional activities

• Assist in coordinating college promotional events

• Communicate regularly with the Associate Dean on priorities

Requirements:

• RVT designation and 3 years of relevant experience

• Licensed or eligible for ABVTA and ABVMA

• Small and large animal nursing experience preferred

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and online tools

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
